I live in Texas and when we come visit St. Louis, this is a must stop for us! I love the shrimp and fish. It's my go to! The food is cooked to order and never has been old or cold .
Food is delicious drinks plentiful, and the service is direct It would be a joy to visit there anytime they are open and need full and happy.
It's an "unusual" eating experience. However, I've been over ten times and it has been a fun adventure each visit. The shrimp, fish, chicken wings, and hot link sandwich's are BOMB

This is a hood gem. The drinks are strong and the food is fried with love and respect. The atmosphere is jukebox blues after the family reunion fun.
The food is great. My only issue is they never answer the phone. Like ever. If they fix that, no complaints at all. Some of the best fried shrimp you'll ever have.
This place is now smoke free! They enforce it too... Also, the music wasn't too loud when I went by yesterday. I tried the catfish and shrimp combo and it was fantastic. It might be my new favorite. Don't let the neighborhood scare you, try this place! How can you be a true foodie if you won't go all over?
Ok this is not a 5-star restaurant.....not even a 2-star but the shrimp are off the charts! I've ordered Playboy's 6pc shrimp dinner take-out for many years and it can be hit to miss. Mostly hit though so I don't complain. The venue is shabby, even a little intimidating so you may wanna take roscoe with you when you pick up. Other than that you won't be disappointed. Oh a little on the pricey side for the location but healthy portions for 2. Oh and staff is not the friendliest but they get the job done.....what do you expect in the heart of Baden!
